we can know what surface the races are. There are some that I know but some are new and I’m
not sure.
one more question. Is there
going to a couple older mare triples this year? Turf, Dirt, both?
Nomination is about 75%
finished. Nomination stuff WILL work for all races but the Breeders’ Cup and Breeders’
Series races. I’ll work on those a bit more gradually since they won’t actually happen for
several months. 
And note: obviously the “discounts” that currently apply for horses
eligible to run in this year’s races will only apply for this year, so take advantage and
nominate younger horses while they’re cheap.
Also, please keep in mind:
There is no confirmation (at this time) before the nominations (and incurring fees) are
processed. There is a check before each nomination is processed
as to whether you can afford it, but there’s nothing to prevent someone from submitting
enough nominations to go bankrupt. So please keep your budget in mind when planning
nominations.
Is there any way to find out
what the conditions (length, turf/dirt/SC) are for each race? Or do I have to look up each
race?
Just wondering…
Right now, no, though
eventually the full race schedule will be up and they’ll be visible there.
If needed, I
can try and post the conditions for those races individually at some point.
Yeah I posted that same
question pretty much. It would be nice to know just because we know how some of the horses
can be picky and we don’t want to waste money nominating horses for races we know we
wouldn’t run them in if we knew the conditions.

As
Jason pointed out earlier, all of Australia’s races are run on the turf, and yet Australia
is roughly 40% dirt for FF.

nominations are closed for the current year, you will be able to view a list of horses who
are nominated.
Okay everything is working
beauifuly except for the BC races for the end of the year. I got some horses nominated but
it won’t let me nominate the rest. Is there a limit?

that’s the error i get. And the horses name it chooses to put in is the horse
that is at the start of where i started nominating again.

Breeders’ Cup and [b]Breeders’ Series
Races[/b] nominations do
NOT work yet.

Shanthi I don’t want to get
on your bad side today but i think you prolly do want to know when something isn’t going
right so you can fix it so I just want to tell you about a little problem with nominating the
last horse on the list.
When I try to nominate Wide Awake who is on the bottom of the
horse list and i push the nominate button his name doesn’t show up on the next page as being
nominated. There isn’t an error message or anything. But it nominated everyone above
perfectly.
Deff. not a bit deal now since there’s like 2 years before the races anyway.

You can view the horses
nominated for this year’s race once nominations have closed. There’ll be a button visible
on the nominations page.
For some reason it’s not
letting me nominate the last horse on my list (Wide Awake) When i check him off and push
nominate it goes to the page where is should say he’s been successfully nominated but it
says nothing and the database shows him as if nothing had happened…lol…what could be
causeing this? His name?
I’ll look into it when I
get a chance.
