I love from the horses page I can schedule an entry then within a couple of clicks on the same page I can ship the horse.
Previously I would have multiple tabs open - this is a massive improvement on time saving ![]()

Should be fixed.
As I’ve been entering, I’m forced to choose jockeys, which is great! But I thought it was saving the jockeys as their race settings, but I noticed they aren’t being saved. Would that at all be possible?
I know that’s totally something that should already be done to get better performance but I just haven’t had the time to go through all my horses to make sure they have jockeys assigned.
It only saves the jockeys when you go through the “Set Racing Options” form on the horse’s page.
I do plan to add some sort of “assign random jockeys to all my horses who don’t have any” button at some point, as that would be handy for 2yos, if nothing else.
OMG that would be fabulous!
Filters for future races are live.
Enjoy.
Doesn’t it do that by default when working out?

Is it possible on the entry screen here to have ‘ship horse now’ either as part of the drop down or a check box?
I find myself entering a horse then going straight to the ship horse from the top and sending out to the track. If it could all be in one click that would be amazing.
For automated workouts, yes, but not manual ones. And it doesn’t save whoever it’s randomly picked so your horse could just spend years getting to know every jockey 3%.
If it helps anyone, I’ve worked through checking horses jockey preferences/assigning new jockeys in ‘batches’ using the filters on the training section.
Mostly I did this by track .eg. those at Aquaduct one day, Belmont the next and so on.
I’ve currently got a lot of horses at the track in England and at the farm so I narrowed down those to location and age, working through all the 2yo currently at the track in England, then doing the 3yo there and then older horses for example.
It made it easier to do them in batches and helped me remember which ones I’d already looked at and adjusted (if necessary).
You can now schedule a 2nd/3rd horse for a race if you have 1/2 entries in it (for 2yo/older), or schedule up to 2/3 entries in future races. Usual caveats apply - your horse may not be entered, etc, but at least if you know you had planned to manually enter Bob in race 4 on Monday/Thursday when that last entry slot opens, it should attempt to do it automatically now.
Hi Emma can you explain (like I’m 5) how you did that?
Maybe with screen shots, I’m not really sure where you are?
Hi Andy,
EDIT: First two photos are the wrong way around! I’ve tried to edit and move them but it’s just deleting all my text instead
. Hopefully it still makes sense!
Here goes (these are phone screenshots as I’m heading out to work but I will add a caveat that I did the majority on my tablet as it lets me switch to the desktop site which I find works a lot better for the new site in general).
First step is to go to your stable’s training page. This is the top of page 1 of mine.
Then open up the filter options. You can see in this screenshot I’ve ticked the 3yo age box and selected Aquaduct as the location. When you’re happy with whichever combination you want to look at, click save at the bottom.
Once you’ve saved your selection, it’ll filter out just the horses in the categories you’ve selected. Here are my Aquaduct based 3yo.
Select a horse from the list - I went through them from top to bottom. So, looking at Encanto here.
On her page, from the ‘Actions’ section you can ‘Select racing options’ and choose and save whichever jockeys you want to try out.
One thing to note when picking jockeys is the racing stats page which you might want to check before assigning jockeys.
At the top of Encanto’s page, you’ll see the racing stats page. When you click on it, you get another tab ‘Jockeys’:
Click on that and you get this screen:
Now @Shanthi might need to correct me here but I’m working on the assumption that you’d ideally want 5 stars in both the experience and happiness sections.
So it’s basically repeat those steps for all the horses as Aquaduct and then repeat for the next location in the drop down. It looks like tracks/boarding farms only appear in the location drop down if you have a horse there. If you’ve got a huge number of horses at one location, you can always filter it out a bit further e.g. 4yo +, Female at England and the do the boys at a later date. Then you can just do small bits as and when you have the time. I found that worked for me.
Thanks Emma.
Yeah I’ve been doing that way, when you mentioned batches I thought you’d come across some hidden cheat code ![]()
I’ve been trawling through me stable this way for race starts, filtering by most recent and just working backwards, I’ve been finding forgotten ponies everywhere awaiting their next race or shipping home ![]()
I’m 13 pages in and just got to February ![]()
Ah sorry, no magic cheat code unfortunately.
I’ve only worked through jockey selection/adjustment and I’ve sent the odd one home/to track from that but I still need to tackle who really needs a break or needs a race scheduled.
