Looks like Schedule Search results show only until July, so that’s it for now!

Omaha Beach is the favourite for this year’s real life Pegasus World Cup.

Final Furlong’s winner from last year, NCh. Fool To Be Smokin’, will run this year too.

GCh. Local Haunt (Black Storm West) wins Final Furlong’s second Pegasus World Cup, and in real life it’s Mucho Gusto.

Dubai World Cup comes in two months! And in real life it’s three days later than in the game.

Due to the ongoing global health implications of the COVID-19/coronavirus, Dubai Racing Club will host the Dubai World Cup meeting on March 28 without paid hospitality spectators at Meydan Racecourse.
Only horse connections, racing officials, accredited media and sponsors will be permitted entry. All races will be contested and regulated in a standard fashion and results will be recorded officially.

This is going to be a WEIRD year. Strangely thankful for FF!

Churchill Downs is expected to make an announcement about the Derby this week.My local track is closed spectators so the Louisiana Derby this weekend will have no fans.

Next month’s Grand National meeting called off. As it stands, other race meetings in the UK and Ireland are going ahead behind closed doors I.e. no access to the general public.

Very strange times.

All racing in the UK has now been cancelled until the end of April.

Kentucky Derby and Oaks delayed until September.

Very bizarre times indeed. I’m curious to see what the Preakness and Belmont will do.

And if a horse does indeed win all 3, is that still a Triple Crown?

Real life Dubai World Cup is cancelled, but in Final Furlong it runs this Wednesday.

GCh. Northern Invasion (Littlefield), the last year’s Breeders’ Cup Classic winner, wins Dubai World Cup. Congratulations!

GCh. Never Let Go (Littlefield) wins Dubai Sheema Classic on turf.

Melbourne Cup in Australia comes next. In real life it’s in November… let’s hope the coronavirus pandemic will be over by then. Hopefully earlier

Here is the 2019 running of Melbourne Cup - the winner was Vow and Declare:

The UK Jockey Club have announced today that the first four English Classics (1000 & 2000 Guineas, Derby and Oaks) will be moved to later in the season although have not as yet proposed alternative dates. As it stands, the St Ledger remains scheduled for early September.

GCh. Kemistree (Littlefield) wins Melbourne Cup. Congratulations!

Highland Rogue Stakes is next - that’s the first “big” steeplechase this year.

Happy QE II Cup, everyone! Looks like in real life it’s happening too, this Sunday. I have two 3yo colts entered: Mhmm and Tanakh. Starfish Stables entered Ch. Crème Brûlée, a 5yo gelding bred by Clicker Lab.

Last moments to enter your horses in the Kentucky Derby! Will we have a full field? I entered Splendid Blessing which I claimed from Final Furlong as a 2yo and he became a Millionaire since then. He’s a half brother of ICh. Blue Smoke, and his sire NCh. Lord Nelson won the 2015 Kentucky Derby.

Tall Oaks Estate entered Cop in Morgue bred by Clicker Lab, who won the Santa Anita Derby just recently.

I’m not updating Famous Races quite consistently, because the pandemic thing is keeping me distracted… but I’ll get back to it!

Here is the replay of real life QE II Cup. Only staff at the racetrack and everyone except jockeys wearing face masks. The winner was Exultant by Teofilo.

No Derby horses for me, but potentially a Preakness entry. We have Lipstickandmalice in the Oaks. Fingers crossed! This is a tough Derby field.

Oh yes I keep forgetting the Oaks… what kind of feminist I am :stuck_out_tongue:
I entered homebred filly Yaqona although she’s only stakes placed, but going strong this year.

I entered Belgrave Square into the Derby - his last start was his first stakes, the G1 Wood Memorial, and he won so we’re gambling. I also sent Clever Little Minx to the Oaks, but she’s another gamble with no wins but multiple stakes placings so far. She has mostly run on turf so far, but both of her parents did best on dirt. Fingers crossed!
