Nice colt.
So the colts are seriously coming our way…

Nice babies
Nice TMA colt, good luck with him.
Wow, we’ve never had so many! Four born today (three fillies, one colt), but not the one I’m most waiting for…
And I bought a nice colt [color=blue]Peter Pan from Edgewood Stud of course he’ll run in Peter Pan Stakes.
Now, to the foaling barn:
[color=red]Hasta la Vista - 9.0h chestnut filly bred by The Grey Stable. By ICh. Spock, out of Ch. Margarita Rose. This filly is 3x3 inbred to Highland Rogue (I/C) and 3x4 inbred to Cigar (I/C). So definetely interesting pedigree. Dam was Grade 2 and 3 winner, and it’s her first foal. “Hasta la vista” means “see you later” in Spanish.
Ch. Margarita Rose will be bred to Empire Maker (did you know, that he was trained by Bobby Frankel?).
[color=blue]Huaso - 9.3h bay colt by ICh. Ring of Fire (Cross Roads), out of That’sMyPointBaby (Point Given). Dam is multiple stakes placed, Grade 1 and 2, and it’s her first foal. [i]“Huaso” is a name for Chilean countryman, and it was a horse that, ridden by Chilean Captain Alberto Larraguibel, set the high-jump world record in Vi
Awesome foals and great names!
Love the name Adelita!
And we have a foal still not the most overdue one.
[color=blue]Susurro - 9.3h chestnut colt with a sock and stocking. By NCh. Dark Demand (Black Knight), out of Kill A Mockingbird (Alydar). Dad’s foals will start racing this year, while his dam is now silver rated thanks to her oldest colt Boo Radley, which earned money in stakes races of all grades. “Susurro” means “whisper” in Spanish.
Kill A Mockingbird will be bred to Monarchos.
Susurro is one of my favorite Spanish words. Love him!
Love the name
Cute little overdue colt.
[color=blue]Rodrigo Borgia - 8.3h black colt with snip, two ermines and a sock. By ICh. Stressed (Secretariat), out of Tilted Kilt (Affirmed). The same cross produced multiple winning filly Cameo Way, and two other unraced foals. Tilted Kilt is out of Ch. Manhattan Skyline, which is by MakeMineManhattan, a silver ranked stallion that had only 8 foals. Rodrigo Borgia was a Spanish aristocrat, which became a pope. There is also a whippet named Rodrigo Borgia (and he’s black too!), which will have puppies later this year…
Tilted Kilt will be auctioned soon. Still waiting for another mare, which is now more than three weeks overdue!
Finally! 24 days overdue
[color=blue]El Padrino - 9.1h bay colt by FFCh. Foolhardy, out of Easy Union (created). His dam is now gold rated (our first and only gold rated broodmare), and he’s a full brother of Ch. Easy to Fool, a multiple stakes winner, multiple stakes placed filly (including a Grade 1 win). I hope that he’ll be at least as good as his sister! “El Padrino” is “a godfather”, “capo di tutti capi”, a mafia overboss.
Easy Union will be bred to Ghostzapper.
Nice colt.
Yay colt! Handsome bugger.
Thanks! I was really hoping for a colt here
Foaling day! A very precious filly.
[color=red]Nallaloe - 10.1h bay filly born one day early. By WCh. Gotta Go (now gold rated) out of Nanao (Distinct Possibili). When I requested a breeding for Nanao to Gotta Go, I wrote: “The foal would be related to Ch. Rain Storm who is a half brother of Gotta Go (same sire, GCh. Go For Dash (S)) and a half brother of Nanao (same dam, Always Rainin’ (S)).” Rain Storm won Grade 1 Two Thousand Guineas, and then he wasn’t raced much. But I hope that it’s a good cross.
Nanao didn’t race a lot either, but she was okay, and has a speed record on dirt. We also have her first filly by NCh. National Post, bred by Triple M Racing. I named the foal Nallaloe, because I was reading about a great Reine-de-Course Killaloe, and I believe that this filly’s pedigree is just as awesome.
Nanao will now be bred to WCh. Crystal Rainbow for a 3/4 sibling of her first daughter Malavida.
She’s a big girl. Hope she does well for you.
Another big filly! Grey this time
[color=red]Lile - 10.0h grey filly with a star. What a beauty! By NCh. Bellagio (Lonesome Glory), out of Ch. Love Signal (High On Love). Both parents were dirt monsters, so she must be, too. I raced Love Signal for a while; she won Gr. 1 Coaching Club American Oaks, placed in Gr. 2 Evening Flame Breeders’ Stakes and Woodbine Oaks, showed in Gr. 1 Alabama Stakes and Gr. 2 Bison City Stakes. Lile is her first foal. “Lile” is a grey cormorant that lives in Chile.
Ch. Love Signal will be bred to ICh. Unabridged for her next foal.
Beautiful filly! Better hang on to that one!
What a big girl! Congratulations!
