Waterpearl decided to run about five days over her due date before delivering her first foal. Cryptic Ballad’s foals seem to be late bloomers if his current crops are anything to go by, and Waterpearl was lightly campaigned with a very inconsistent record in terms of surface/distance, so who knows what Black Oceans will turn out like. At least she and momma are healthy! She should grow into a massive filly though; her sire is 17.1hh and her dam is 17.3hh 
. Waterpearl will be sent to Oscillation for 2017.

So, I nearly just about cried when I saw which foal we unfortunately lost. Gold-ranked I’m Yours Joe, dam of I’m Your Angel, had a stillborn colt by Foolhardy. We were very much looking forward to this one. She’s been sent to Candidate for 2017; hopefully we can send her to Foolhardy again for 2018.
Last foal until May. What a way to start the long haul >.< But we did have one healthy baby!

Crystal Caverns decided to keep this one cooking for an extra week! Silver Wizard’s oldest crop are yearlings and this is only Crystal Cavern’s second foal, so who knows what she’ll do later. But hey, I have to admit I’m sort of a sucker for the dark grays. Crystal Caverns has been put up for sale, unbred.

Thanks Lindsay! I’ll make a note of it. I was really excited when I saw Joe had foaled a colt, then went to see it and was quite saddened. She’ll definitely visit Foolhardy next year!

Executioner decided enough was enough and gave birth to this strapping son of Candidate nine days early! He is a little small, but since his dam tends to throw late bloomers, he’ll have plenty of time to grow. He’s half to SW Ch. Crimson Dahlia, and SP What a Wizard. Candidate’s foal have been doing exceptionally well so we’re excited to see what he’ll do later! I can’t think of a name, so I’m open to suggestions. Executioner has been sent to Formal Occasion for 2017.

For the Win held on to this big son of Dark Demand for a few extra days before foaling like a pro. He’s the second foal out of For the Win, who had been retired 1 point short of her champion title (drives me batty!). He’s almost the spitting image of his sire. For the Win has been sent to One Lucky Soul for 2017.
