We had quite a scare when Charm Bracelet went into labor, as seeing she wasn’t expected to foal until the 30th! Despite arriving some two weeks early, the filly is perfectly healthy, actually bigger than a few of our other babies, and momma is doing just fine. This is Charm Bracelet’s second foal, and from Celtic Star’s first crop. Charm Bracelet has been booked to National Post for 2017.

It’s a girl! My Valentine wasn’t due until April 5th, so when she went into labor there was quite a scare, especially given the expected sire. Evernight is a small filly, but she’ll have plenty of time to grow. I’m extremely excited over her, since she was our only expected Nightflight foal, and we only own one other. My Valentine has been put up for sale.

It’s the season of fillies! I’m having a tough time naming her (the name we had in mind was taken); not sure on the current one, so I’m up for suggestions! This girl arrived a day early and looking very much like dad. She’ll probably be a later bloomer, since Kelly’s Classic’s best year was 3 and Sneak Peak’s foals seem to get better with age. Kelly’s Classic has been sent to Eighteen Karat for 2017.
