Mayfair had its first foal! I am planning on heading over to the foaling barn to gloat in a mo…
For some reason, the broodmare Dancer’s Prancer is listed as still in foal even though the foal has been born (the same foal is listed as Last Foal and Next Foal). The baby appears to have its own page, even though its page doesn’t show up in my stable’s full roster, and she’s (e.g. the new filly) listed as 17.0h, which would be fabulous, but I think something might be wrong.
Is this a bug Shanthi, or should I just wait until later today/tomorrow for this to sort itself out?
It is a bug, it should be fixed tomorrow…the daily update script keeps thinking it’s not yet today when it is, which is why it’s not updating statuses.
Okay, no prob. I figured it was probably something that would fix itself. Thanks Shanthi!
I think it has to do with daylight saving time, but logically it shouldn’t since moving forward 1 hour should make it think it’s even more today.
Anyway, should be fixed tomorrow morning when the script runs again.
Would the 17.0h foal be part of the same error as well? Is it accidentally showing how tall she’ll be when she’s full-grown?
Yes. Updating the breeding code to set baby heights to default is on the to-do list, but for now the daily script handles that.
I just checked again, and it’s corrected itself. Thanks.
I re-ran the daily update script to take care of today’s newborns.
