My beloved state is on fire again, being August and all. Is anyone affected by it? I’m in San Diego for school, so I’m relatively safe (until we catch fire as well) but my family lives north of Los Angeles, and the fire’s forcing evacuations in Pasadena, La Crescenta, and Glendale, which are all about 30 minutes away from them. Plus the historic Mount Wilson observatory is in the line of fire, which quite frankly is terrifying the crap out of me.
Oh god, and the racetracks. 
Ugh, I’m SO glad I’m in NorCal, and right on the coast to boot. We didn’t have very many fires this season, and I’m very thankful.
I hope the fires burn out soon and nobody gets hurt. 
I’m in NorCal on the central coast. Our air was actually really bad for a couple of weeks because of the Bonny Dune fire, but it’s back to normal now. I feel terrible for the people in the LA area. Hopefully they’ll be able to get the fires back under control soon.
We’re on fire in BC too… Fortunately not close to where I am, but so many more fires this year than last year
