Not necessarily, other than potential lifestyle changes if you guys weren’t living together before.  (I tend to think of weddings like birthdays…they can be a big deal, and they’re (usually) a lot of fun, but they’re not some magic wand that instantly transforms your life, IMO)

My husband and I kept asking each other for like a month if we felt like we were really married yet.  It never did magically hit me.  I mean, it’s not like I made some life altering decision that day.  I made the decision a long time before. :wink:  But I agree with not really remembering it.  It’s sort of a happy blur.

That’s exactly how I feel. I think we already made the mental commitment a long time ago, so the wedding just made it official for everyone else. Nice gifts though, my favorite was the microwave lol You don’t realize how much you use a microwave until you don’t have one for 3 weeks! :slight_smile: I am dreading the Thank You list though…  ::) lol

I love the bridesmaid dresses! They’re gorgeous :smiley: The pictures are small, but they sort of resemble the ones we had to wear in my cousins wedding, except ours were a purpley color. Congratulations :slight_smile:

Thanks :slight_smile: We tried to pick bridesmaid dresses that were usable again… so it wasn’t all a waste of money hehe… None of that “unique” color or styling for me… just something elegant, and classic!

Yeah, I’m thinking about wearing mine to junior prom next year. But I’m praying I won’t be able to fit into it by then (go dieting!) Haha. But I’m a fan of red, so I’m very jealous that they’ve got red and I’ve got purple :smiley:
