I have just returned from vacation to find that our stallion Crystal Rainbow has been retired by the stud manager on the vet’s instructions. We had hoped to have a few more stud seasons with him but increasing problems with arthritis has ended those hopes. He is ok for light hacking so will retire to the farm where there is lots of opportunity for gentle exercise and fresh air.
So sorry to see him leave the breeding shed, but I hope he has a long and happy retirement.
Oh bummer… He was such a nice sire, too. I hope City Upon a Hill and Demand the Best can do him proud.
