Naw, it just means he has to share some with the rest of us. Not going to complain, since most are drool-worthy. =)
Exactly! Will be having a sale of around 22+ 2YOs early next year. The following year will be a sale of ~40+. Year after will be a sale of ~60+. Love my 2YO sales. Y’all help fund my breeding obsession!
Two colts to add…
[color=blue]Peerless is a tall 10.0h bay colt. His sire is WCh. Gotta Go who is a young sire with just one crop running and doing okay - five raced 2YOs and four have placed so far. His dam is GCh. Peer to Peer (Gr.2) who was a good performer. This is her second foal. She has nice lines (I’m A Classic x Person to Person) so hopefully she produces some good runners. Will probably keep this boy.
[color=blue]The Hope Express is a bay colt standing at 8.3h. His sire is the phenomenal runner Express Yourself who won the 2011 English Triple Crown along with four Eclipse Awards. His first foals are being born this year. This colt’s dam is Eclipse winner (2002 Older Mare of the Year) Hope’s Dream. She’s Silver-rated and has foals a couple of stakes winners. I own one of her daughters so will probably sell this colt.

Summary: 44 foaled (21 [color=blue]colts, 19 [color=red]fillies), four stillborn, no deceased mares, 18 foals left for 2015
Five more to report. Four colts and a filly. All five will most likely end up in our 2YO sale in a couple of years!
[color=red]Flippant is a gorgeous dark grey filly standing at 8.2h. Her sire is Highland Bandit - one of the game’s most renowned horses in terms of both a racer and a stud. Her dam is Facetious - she is a created mare who was stakes placed. She has two raced foals, one winner. This filly will be sold.
[color=blue]Wish Upon Me is a chestnut colt standing at 10.2h. His sire is Strike It Rich - one of my boys who was a really diverse runner. Dam is MSP Snowing Starz. This is her second foal. This colt will be sold.
[color=blue]Intergalactic is a chestnut colt standing at 10.0h. His sire is Silver-rated Rahy who has had some success with only a few crops running. His dam is Evenstar who was a multiple stakes winner. Her dam is Gold-rated Question Authority so hopefully she performs just as well as a broodmare. This is her second foal. Will likely be sold.
[color=blue]Templar Knight is a black colt standing at 9.0h. His sire is What’s It Worth stud Chivalry who’s first crop hit the track this year. His dam is MSP (at Grade One level) Salty Turn. This is her second foal. She has Highland Rogue through her sire so I’m hoping this cross has a good result. Will be selling this boy.
[color=blue]Riddler is a tall grey colt standing at 11.1h. His sire is my stud Strike It Rich. His dam is Catwoman - hence the name, disappointed Joker was taken! Catwoman was a multiple stakes winner over jumps including a Grade One. This is her first foal and I think he’ll be sold.

Summary: 49 foaled (25 [color=blue]colts, 20 [color=red]fillies), four stillborn, no deceased mares, 13 foals left for 2015
Nice babies there are two I’d like to have
Six more… Almost there… Definitely looks like a colt year.
[color=blue]Prince Vivanancyv is a dark bay colt standing at 8.2h. He’s by Prince of Wonder and out of created mare Vivanancyv who is a Champion rated mare and winner of the Australian Oaks (Gr.1). This is her first foal. This colt will most likely be sold.
[color=blue]Jeweler is a liver chestnut colt standing at 9.2h. His sire is Crystal Rainbow; a World Champion with some nice progeny. His dam is winning Cigar mare The Princess who has a couple of stakes-placed foals. This colt will be sold.
[color=red]She’s Demanding is a chestnut filly standing at 9.3h. She is part of Dark Demand’s first crop. Her dam is stakes-placed Chroniton (Gr.2) who has a solid damline (all Silver-rated). This is her first foal. This filly will be sold.
[color=blue]Prince of Troy is a bay colt standing at 10.0h. His sire is Prince of Wonder. His dam is winner Troi. This is her first foal. This colt will be sold.
[color=red]Volkl’s Princess is a chestnut filly standing at 9.1h. Her sire is Prince of Wonder. Her dam is Volkl. Can you guess I’m getting lazy with names? Her dam has Champion status and was a multiple stakes winner at Grade Three level. This is her first foal. I’ll be selling this filly.
[color=blue]Dunes is a chestnut colt standing at 8.3h. He’s the best of this batch. He is by High Chances who is finding his feet as a sire (I expect his foals will generally perform better with age). His dam is Kamaole Sands who is a Grand Champion mare and multiple stakes winner up to Grade One level. She’s exceptionally well bred being by What’s It Worth and out of Reason Enough (Silver-rated, Reine-de-Course). Dunes is a full sibling to stakes-placed filly Thunderball (Gr. 3) who I expect is a late-maturing sprinter - at least that’s what I’m hoping! I’ll most likely keep this colt.

Summary: 55 foaled (29 [color=blue]colts, 22 [color=red]fillies), four stillborn, no deceased mares, seven foals left for 2015
Nice babies
Good luck with Dunes, Jason. I’m hoping you’re right and that HC’s foals will begin to perk up next year as 4yos.
Another one arrived. Another colt… Was hoping this one would be a filly due to the dam being my oldest mare and Gold-rated… And I don’t own any of her daughters…
[color=blue]Rollin In The Deep is a 9.3h brown colt. His sire is High Chances. His dam is Best Bet who holds a Champion title with a few stakes placings to her name back in 2000/01. This is her 12th foal - 10 have raced, nine are winners, three are MSW and four are MSP. I named this boy after Adele’s hit song which kind of fit. Best Bet has been sent off to A.P. Indy for an August (only spot left!) foal which will hopefully be a filly - just hope she doesn’t die or retire between now and the foal’s birth…

Summary: 56 foaled (30 [color=blue]colts, 22 [color=red]fillies), four stillborn, no deceased mares, seven foals left for 2015
Good luck with the HC baby. =)
Another colt…
[color=blue]Your Indiscretion is a 9.1h black colt. He is by Worth My While who is a very nice sire who unfortunately had to be retired at a young age. Your Indiscretion is his third last progeny to be born. His dam is One Star Affair - a Grand Champion mare who won a number of stakes up to Grade Two level. This is her first foal. He’s a very well bred colt with What’s It Worth through his sire and Highland Rogue and Cross Roads through his dam along with a Reine-de-Course mare (Grey Willow) on his damline. I may keep this one depending on how many colts vs fillies I keep.

Summary: 57 foaled (31 [color=blue]colts, 22 [color=red]fillies), four stillborn, no deceased mares, five foals left for 2015
Nice colt!
Thanks!
Very nice colt Jase! I need to catch up and post a list of mine now as I’ll have over 60 this year
So there was definitely something in my water this season… Another colt!
[color=blue]I’ll Seduce You is a 9.1h bay colt. His sire is I’m Your Angel who is a young What’s It Worth sire (only two crops raced) who isn’t doing too badly. His dam is Seductive Jester who was a winner on the track and has three raced foals including stakes winner Magic Jester (U.). I’ll sell this colt.

Summary: 58 foaled (32 [color=blue]colts, 22 [color=red]fillies), four stillborn, no deceased mares, four foals left for 2015
Two colts and a stillborn colt… One foal left!
[color=blue]Unnamed was stillborn today. He was by Spock and out of Fanfare - a Grand Champion What’s It Worth mare who is out of a Highland Rogue mare and half-sister to Bay of Biscay. Very disappointed to lose this boy! Fanfare has gone off to Highland Magic.
[color=blue]You Complete Me is a dark bay colt standing at 9.1h. He is by Unabridged - a created stallion who was a great runner achieving International Champion status. His first crop of foals is this year’s crop. You Complete Me is by While It Lasts - a Grand Champion mare who won up to Grade One level. She’s a very well bred Worth My While mare from the First Lady damline. This is her first foal. Probably a keeper!
[color=blue]Lasting Darkness is a 9.3h black colt. He is by Lasting Spirit - a well bred stud whose oldest progeny are 2YOs (and he has a stakes winner and 30% win rate so far). This colt’s dam is Way of Darkness who is by The Black. She was unraced and has three winners from three raced foals including one who is stakes placed. Will probably sell this colt.

Summary: 61 foaled (34 [color=blue]colts, 22 [color=red]fillies), five stillborn, no deceased mares, one foals left for 2015
Sorry for your loss. I’m glad the other two are healthy, though.
Sorry to hear a most anticipated foal was lost, along with the others. Good luck on your last expected foal!
Congratulation on a healthy boy from Unabridged! I hope that he runs well for you! I’m sorry to hear about your loss as well. Good luck on your last little one.
One last colt (surprise, surprise) to round out the season for me.
[color=blue]Abdicate is a 9.1h bay colt. He is by Prince of Wonder. His dam is Not Gonna Wait who was a winner on the track. Dam has nice lines having What’s It Worth on her sire’s side and NCh. Burning Ember (a three time Eclipse winner) through her dam’s side. This colt is the first of his dam and will be sold.
