As far as I can tell, I’ve had an uptick in injuries from a handful a year to 4 in the last month, granted I have grown my herd quite a lot so that could definitely be the problem. I was just curious if anyone else had seen a large number of injuries in the past month or so.

I think the uptick is cyclical with 2yos starting racing. Jan-Mar has fewer horses racing than the rest of the year (horses get retired, 2yos aren’t running yet, etc).
