Training -- Please bear with me

In my part of the world (UK) all training is carried out at the homebase. i.e. no racecourse training. So could I check I have it right – training at the homefarm and workout at a Track for FF horses.
Have read a considerable amount in the Forums re training, which I understand to be an optional facility.
Does this extend to the Workouts at the Track or are they required to attain the necessary Health / Energy ratings?

As I say; Please bear with me I’ll get there soon.

In FF training is an entirely optional function, horses can win without ever having a training session in their life.

If the horse is at the farm, training is unavailable, staying at the farm is purely for resting to regain energy and natural/mental energy. Resting a horse at the farm also means that they will recover energy quicker than if they were at the racetrack. If you do decide to train make sure you only work your horse out when it has either an A or B for energy, anything below that will most likely tire the horse out to much.

Don’t feel bad about asking questions, it’s how we all learn!
