Hans ran on Feb. 17th and is still at F energy, which is unlike him. He hasn’t done anything since then.
I think maybe horses regained energy today? I still haven’t figured out what’s going on, but manually re-running the energy script caused @Firefly’s Arcane to go to A/A anyway.
I think the reset somewhat worked? All my boarded horses finally say 10 days boarded (they were all showing 0) but all 5 are still at F energy. I also have a few horses who have been home for over a week also still at F energy. Most of my horses did go to A or B fitness, though.
His energy did update, I think it was just super low from his last race.

I suppose it’s possible that it all updated and some of my horses are just not recovering like they used to? I just looked at Fractal in particular, who is at C energy. Her last race was Jan. 27. She’s been worked out 9 times since then, and hasn’t worked out at all in the last 5 days. She used to recover much faster, but maybe she’s just getting old?
Still, Follow the Stars is a 3yo who hasn’t raced since Nov. 4 last year. He worked out 9 times in Feb. and like Fractal hasn’t done anything in the last 5 days, yet it says he’s at C energy.
Could be that I just never paid much attention to how things worked before, but I could have sworn they recovered faster than that. I’ll keep an eye on things and see if any of these things change in the next few days.

I scratched Hans from today’s race because he’s still at F energy, I think he used to recover faster, especially when not working since before last race.
Definitely still something buggy. Some of my horses who have been home for 2 weeks are at F energy, and all the horses I had boarded for 10 days were also still at F (seems weird all 5 wouldn’t be recovering). I finally un-boarded and just removed their training schedules because why pay for boarding when they weren’t recovering lol. Most of my horses seem fixed but there’s definitely a chunk that still seem off.

I’ve been keeping an eye on Fractal in particular since Shanthi last looked at this bug. Her energy hasn’t improved at all, though her fitness has dropped. This seems to be the case for others, too.

I have a bunch who have been at home for 15 ish days and still at F energy. Still think there is a bug wiggling around in there somewhere.

Yeah, had my boy Dernier Adieu at A/A before training him three days ago (walk, 1/2 mile) and he went straight to C/B and hasn’t budged since. He’s entered in the Santa Anita and I’ve been debating whether I should scratch him
I think the problem is that the database is crapping out when the daily script runs. I’m not sure what it needs to be happy, but in the meantime I’ve moved the energy update into its own script that will run separately. I’ve run it today (which caught it up for a week 
) and will see how it does tomorrow.

OK, two days in a row this has appeared to be happy. 
I think splitting out the script, and beefing up the server specs have revived it.

So, it seems that 99% of my horses are back to normal, but I have one, Gibberish, who just doesn’t seem to be recovering at all. He was at the farm from 2/24 to 3/9, then shipped to Santa Anita. I think something weird happened with that, though, because it seemed like he just teleported to SA, and his energy wasn’t recovering. I put him in boarding on 3/11 and have watched for any sign of recovery, but he’s still at F energy. (His page also says he’s been in boarding for 33 days, which I think is a separate bug).
Edited to add, I think these others may be stuck as well, as they all seem weirdly stuck on F energy? Unless they’re all just recovering incredibly slow.

Grimalkin - raced 3/06, hasn’t worked, still at F energy
Chortle - same as Grimalkin
Either Shanthi did something, or the code fixed itself, because now only Odious is still stuck at F energy.
Agreed. Dark Ages was at F forever, then suddenly he was D yesterday and C today. Looks like several from my list of 3 days ago are also back in B/C today.
