Born January 6th

First son born as part of My Lucky Day’s last season standing at stud. This guy is definitely going to be retained at Tall Oaks for the duration of his life. He’s going to grow into a massive fellow as well, most of Day’s other sons aren’t this tall two months after being born. Arabic has a pending date with Celtic Star in April.

We also lost one of our long time residents on May 3rd. Jazzman, a son of Jazz It Up x Hollywood Queen (half to MSWs Hollywood Gold, Highland Kieran, Sovereign, TakeMeToHollywood, Hollywood Mogul, and Got Moxie) was found in his stall that morning following a heart attack during the night. He was a sweet old gelding who will be missed, many of our homebred racers were mentored by him when they were going through their training as yearlings.

My fiancee is currently in Basic Training at Fort Jackson but will be shipped to the Hampton Roads area (Fort Eustis to be exact) come July which led to her name. Kentucky Gamble won a couple of graded stakes for us during her racing days. Her three year old colt by My Lucky Day also is showing potential now that we’ve found out he loves the jumps. Gamble will see Sea the Stars next.
