Storybook has decided to sell some yearlings-in-training, and possibly some weanlings (we haven’t gone through them yet). So far there are 8 yearlings up for sale, all out of either unrankable or silver rank dams. These are well bred colts and fillies that just don’t fit in with my “smaller is better” stable philosophy (ie I’m not unreasonably attached to their dams ). I didn’t put any reserves up, so the market will truly decide what these boys and girls are worth.
Auction starts Oct 21st and horses will sell after 24 hours with no bids. I’ll remind everyone as it gets closer .
