Thanks! We lost a retired broodmare today as well.

We had 10 stillborn last year, definitely hoping for less this year.

Jazz’ed went into foal right on her due date, but unfortunately had a very rough time delivering a stillborn filly. We’ve decided that she will be retired immediately. She is the dam of 12 live foals, all her foals to race (bar the youngest) are winners, including the stars listed above.

Ugh, hard blow losing another foal, especially one from a cross like that and having to retire the mare, too. At least she’s got quite the legacy left behind.

The rest look lovely. I especially love the name Glitterbomb.

Thanks - I like the name, just worry it sounds a bit filly-ish. Granted, I think I named Behind A Veil after Harry Potter as in the veil of death, not a bridal veil.
