I would like to send Ch. Nightingale Island to Edinburgh, Aug 2.

Please could I get two for VL:
March 3 for Golden Globes
July 2 for Unbridled Frolic

And the April 2 to Quintet for Dancing In Winter

Thank you

Can I get the following slots?

To Nelson:
Into The Void - May 2

To Eddie:
Oh So Proud - June 1

To VL:
Murder By Numbers - May 2
Queen Catarina - Apr 1

To Quintet:
Fleur’s Debate - May 2

may I please get the Feb slot from VL for Cigar’s Gold (not currently in foal) and a July 1 (july 15) slot for Elven Star for VL as well.

This is my first year breeding mares who were in Foal the previous season, I’ve given about 1.5 mths from Elven due date for her next breeding. Is this enough time or should I go one more slot ? Any advice on this is greatly appreciated from anyone.

I generally round up and add a month. Mares can foal +/- 6 weeks from their due date so it’s kind of a gamble. (6 weeks is extreme, usually they’re +/- 3 weeks.)

So I have the right idea about giving 1.5mths after the due date for next breeding or should I push them all to 2 mths after to be on the safe side?

She is currently due June 1/2024- so thought July 15/2024 would be a good starting point for next breeding.

1 1/2 months should be plenty since each breeding slot lasts about 2 weeks (i.e. Apr 1 slot is from April 1 - 15, Apr 2 slot is Apr 16-30), so you should be able to hit it nearly 100% of the time.

If I have a mare due April 1st through 4th, I tend to book a May 1 slot. April 5th - 20th, I tend to --book a May 2 slot to be safe It’s always a gamble, though - mares can foal super early, too, and booking too late constantly pushes your mare back each year until she’s only available in July. Unfortunately, its impossible to know exactly when she will foal (and if she’ll miss her booking). I tend to give more cushion time for bookings I’m dead-set on, and plan to be flexible (switch mares around if needed) for the rest.

thank you all for the input! helps alot!

Could I get Lord Nelson’s remaining May slot and Quintet’s April slot, please? Mares as yet undecided, as I’ve made exactly zero plans.

Can I please have the following slots to Von Lichtenstein:

February slot for Sweet Ginger Brew
May slot for Tinseltown

His May slots are gone but I put her in for June 1. Hope that’s OK!

Sorry, both were already taken.

Nelson has June 2 available, Quintet has June 1 available. Both reserved for you unless you don’t want them.

Thanks all for the bookings - think I’ve got everyone. I’ve updated the list of available slots and nominated the boys for Breeders’ Cup.

Could I get a breeding to Quintet on Aug 2 for Ch. Silent Forest? She is currently due on 6/30/24, and I think she should be ready to breed again by then (please correct me if I’m wrong)?

Since my mare, Fleur’s Debate, retired - could her booking be transferred to another mare of mine? It’s All Yours?

Sure - who’s she visiting?

It was Quintet’s May 2 slot. Sorry! I wasn’t able to book it myself - I wasn’t sure if it was already snapped up or if it is caught in some kind of limbo on your end after a retirement (I feel like I should know this…) If it was already snagged, I can make other plans. Just thought I’d ask in case it is still available!

I’ve swapped it to be for any mare.
