Kermit almost needs no introduction. He raced for 5 years, winning 17 stakes races and over $8 million. He literally did it all - not only did he set almost a dozen speed records (at distances ranging from 6.5 furlongs to 16 furlongs), but he won the Breeders’ Cup SC Endurance twice, and won the first two legs of the Triple Crown. He was voted 3yo Colt of the Year and Horse of the Year in 2006, and in 2009 he won Steeplechase Horse of the Year.
