The horses are currently in the barns and can be shipped and worked. Just the upcoming races button, doesn’t show up.

Please DO NOT do anything with these horses until January 1.  If you want them in your stable list to stare at for 6 weeks, fine.  But your best bet is to leave them where they are so that they’re fully rested come Jan 1.  (I am happy to ship any to the farm for rest if you would like, just PM me.  But I don’t want these guys getting run into the ground before their year of racing even begins.)

Not a big deal for me. The horse I’ve selected is a Yearling so won’t be able to race until March next year anyway.

I would guess that they either indicate horses that have been bid on and are coming to the end of the bidding period or horses that have completed the bidding period and, once Shanthi has had a chance to actually set up the lease, she will delete them from the list.

Bingo! They’re horses that were bid on the day before…whenever I check the list, I also check for anyone’s name that is already there, and put the asterisk there.  Then it’s easier for me to double-check and make sure a certain bid has reached its expiration date, before I slap a ‘lease pending’ mark on it.
