So I’ve been realizing lately that I just don’t have time to manage my giant stable of racehorses…SF horses have gotten to the track a whopping 123 times this year (compared to 407 last year, which was also a light year, and 700+ in 2009/2010).
I still plan on keeping a few horses (sim-Java babies, and the offspring of a few other mares)…but starting in 2013 (potentially only for that year, depending on my time), I plan to lease out all my other racehorses.
I think copying the entire list and then putting your bid on it is going to take up way to much space on this post… just copy down the horse you are interested in… place your bid… Nan said she would update the list… Shanthi and I can also update that list… just to make this post a little shorter… I’ve gone ahead and modified the 2 bid postings…
Early Valentine and Fly Me To The Moon have closed for bidding. I have setup the leases for them, which you are welcome to pay for now or on/after Jan 1.
I missed adding Got Moxie to my list of horses I’ll keep and race myself, so he’s no longer available to lease.
Also, if newbies really are this apathetic about leasing well-bred horses for super cheap amounts, I’ll skip the newbie-only bidding period and open it up to everyone. Keep in mind that, if nothing else, all of these horses are likely to earn your lease fee back and then some. And, as I said, there will likely be the option to lease for multiple years, and there may be the option to purchase them once their racing career is over.
