Sadly, we were advised by the vet to retire Blarneystone Lane. She is 16 years old but is already Platinum ranked (14.8). Blarneystone Lane didn’t have a long racing career, with only 10 races spread out over 2 years. She had 1 win and 5 seconds and earned $42,400. It was as a Broodmare where she excelled. She produced 11 foals, of which 8 have hit the tracks so far. 7 of the 8 have been winners and she has produced 5 Stakes Winners, of which 4 were Multiple Stakes Winners. All 5 were Millionaires or Mult-Millionaires and her progeny have average earnings of over $2.5 million. Two of her sons, NCh. Hogwarts and NCh. Hogsmeade are already at Stud while another son, GCh. Belak needs two more SW of any Grade and another son, GCh. Bele needs three more SW of any Grade to Qualify for Stud. May she enjoy a long retirement.
