Here in Northern West Virginia we have had 6-12 inches of snow…lol. Schools were cancelled the power is out to over 70,000 residents. The power company said it will take till friday to get everyone electricity again. I just thought I’d share cause this just continues the weird weather patterns this year. Snow in October!
We’ve had snow in October lots of times before.Though it hasn’t happened in a long time and it hasn’t gotten above four inches. But lately all that it’s done is snow very lightly.
Yea, in Jersey we’re supposed to be getting snow showers tonight…I hate snow…I hate the cold. I think I was destined to live in the desert. :roll:
I don’t think I wold hate snow so much if it didn’t hit the sidewalks and streets than it could snow all it wants.
Getting snow on halloween is not uncommon back home (Western NY). Here, we just get rain. Every day (or so it seems). sigh
yeah we’ve had some flurries here and there but never bad enough for school cancellations. And yeah I have to agree with you on the sidewalk thing. I had to change jeans today cause they got a little wet walking in the snow then just kept creeping up my pant legs…lol. Does make a mug of Hot Cocoa extra tasty, though. 
Although I would rather have snow than ice
I love snow… but out weather here in Chicago has been real funny the past couple of years. Normally we get a lot of lake effect snow, which is great! Bring on the snow! but the past 4-5 years has been so freaking cold… so cold that it can’t even snow. 
I think this is going to be another cold hard winter for us. 
Warm(er), snowy winters are the best
