Cryptic Ballad was a nice steeplechaser while Easy Does It was never raced. Her foals have been decent steeplechasers though, so hopefully this cross will turn out okay. :slight_smile:

This lovely filly was born a few days late, and she’s a little one! Daffodil was a nice steeplechaser for what few starts she had (as a five- and six-year old, as well) and Gone Haywire was a nice chaser as well. Cloud is named after the poem I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud by William Wordsworth.

Went out to the barn this morning and discovered Gone Punk had foaled three weeks early! She had a cute little colt.

This filly is a completely random mating. Vex was a decent two year old, but didn’t show much form after that. Octagonal’s first crop are yearlings.

One of my most anticipated foals! Player won multiple Eclipse Awards in 2012, including Turf Horse, and Sedaka was certainly no slouch. Hope this filly will get a nice dose of stamina and be a super runner. Her name is a testament to my nerdiness. She’s named after the player character in the upcoming Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.  :slight_smile:

Lost another foal today, a colt by Highland Bandit and out of Soifon. :\ Soifon is a little confused but doing well otherwise. She’ll be sent to All Jazzed Up.

We’ve had an exciting few days with a mare foaling late and another mare foaling very early.

Texan is 17 now and had a difficult labor this time, so we’ve decided to retire her and let her enjoy the good life. Sarolea is lovely and is named after one of the first motorcycle companies, whose motorcycles are very rare today.

River foaled about 3 weeks early so Reels is pretty tiny. River is an okay producer and Octagonal’s first crop hits the track next year so not sure what to expect with this one. She’s cute though!

Another guy was born on Tuesday, after a week and a half of waiting.

I have no idea what to expect from this guy. Hopefully a good, solid runner. He was born on Tuesday, which was the release of Portal 2, so he’s currently named after one of the characters. It will change eventually. :slight_smile:
