Silent Witness

Silent Witness lost again

yesterday. Hopefully they’ll get him off the mile, since they have put him up at these

distances he’s lost, he is just getting tired. I know they wanted him to come over to

America for the BC Mile but I don’t think he can stay with this distance. I’ve watched his

last four starts the last two at the mile where he lost. It is heartbreaking watching because

he runs his legs off. Hopefully they’ll throw him back in distance again. Who knows he may

be able to run on the dirt, he seems to have the form for it.

They really should pull him

off of the mile. If I had a racehorse, I think I’d rather run him in slightly smaller races

that the horse liked more, rather than huge well known races with big purses that the horse

disliked. Still, second place isn’t bad at all.

Good on them for trying

though. He’s a great horse an 19-17-2-0 is a nice record I think! To finish second in two

mile GI races is nothing to be ashamed of. Yes he’s a better sprinter, but he didn’t

exactly run last now did he… Not to mention the fact that he’s Australian bred, but

that is another story… :stuck_out_tongue:

Err… he finished 3rd

there… not 2nd. Unless the story is wrong  But yeah, nothing wrong with being a champion

turf sprinter…

I’m sure I’m detecting

sarcasm somewhere in that post Andrea… :stuck_out_tongue: What’s wrong with turf? Most of the world runs

on turf… American’s love doing things different…

Actually I didn’t have any

sarcasm in the turf part :stuck_out_tongue:. Was all in the “not actually reading the article” part…

Argh… Stupid

interpertation of internet talk… :stuck_out_tongue:
