FINALLY I have a foal to talk about! Definitely going to aim for some January babies next season, the waiting just about killed me. We welcomed our first foal of the season this morning, just 2 days late. Both mare and foal are doing well

Blue Eyed Girl is quite the looker, a beautiful blue roan colour and a decent size to her. What’s Your Point has produced some lovely foals, many which are running very well in allowance races but are relatively untested in stakes. California Dreams hasn’t had any foals hit the track just yet but she was a nice, consistent runner. She will be visiting Slepnier this season. I look forward to seeing what Blue Eyed Girl can do as both her folks are relatively untested.

Shot In The Dark is a striking black colt with a flashy stocking. A.P. Dreamin was already in foal when I purchased her in september. She is a MSW mare out of A.P Indy, I quite like her lineage. Her first foal will run this year. Gimme A Shot has been kind of hit and miss with his foals but has produced some very nice running foals. I’m hoping A.P. Dreamin’ turns out to be an awesome broodmare. She will be visiting I’m Your Angel this season; the worth/indy cross should produce a nice foal.

I am super excited about this petite, adorable filly. I love her breeding. Her dam, Morning Magic wasn’t the best runner but she is out of the gold rated mare Morning Star and the lovely stallion Highland Magic. Mornin’s sire, I’m Your Angel had a fantastic track career. He currently has 2 sets of foals running, both sets are proving to be good, solid, reliable runners on a variety of distances and surfaces. I think that this cross, the Highland/Worth cross will help Top O’ The Mornin’ become a solid runner. Morning Magic will be seeing Strike It Rich this season

[Oscillation (S) x Isabella (Gallant Fox (S))]
Another filly i’m excited about (I guess i’m excited about all my foals!), I named her Hither N’ Yon because well… Oscillation basically means back and forth or To and Fro which is the same as Hither N’ Yon. Anyways, Oscillation has 3 generations of foals currently running but theres only actually 20 runners in all 3 of those years, so not many. He has produced some solid, consistent runners with average earnings of over $200,000. Isabella didn’t like to run but she comes from lineage that loved running and produced runners. I’m hopefully that this Slew Gallant cross will produce a runner. Isabella will be seeing Gilded Saint this season
