Well, this year has definitely started out rough. Not only are our good runners from last year struggling to keep up, but our first foal of the year was a stillborn.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Calle de Oro does come with a Live Foal Guarantee so if you wanted to try him again (or any of our other Stallions), the breeding would be free.
Calle has a possible slot available for Mar 3. There is a Starfish mare booked in that slot but, if you wanted it, I would switch her out.

Not sure I’m sold on her name yet, but this little girl is only the the second filly out of 6 foals for this mare. She’s half to stakes winner [color=blue]He’s Her Knight, who I also own and who is one of my most consistent runners despite being a one-win wonder. Lol. Fairly Persistent’s foals don’t seem to be terribly consistent, though, so we’ll hope this little one takes more after her sire.

This is gonna be a big girl, it looks like, since both of her parents are at or over 17hh. Wistful is her mama’s first foal, so no telling how she’ll do. Wish For Ribbons never hit the board in stakes races, but she was a fairly consistent runner and did set one speed record, so it’ll be interesting to see how her progeny perform.

Another big girl in the barn. I bought her dam in foal, mostly because I was interested in Club Liquid’s pedigree. Art Club is definitely bred for SC, but Mom didn’t do too shabby on flat surfaces either, so I’m hoping this girl will turn out to be a solid all-rounder.
