Here is something you will need to do, so you know what horses are entered in upcoming races.
Go to: www.equibase.com
left side of page: ENTRIES click on it.
Now a page will show ALL the USA tracks that are running and the race dates.
For this 1st weekend you have Fair Grounds, 2/9/08(race 9 I think), and Turf Paradise 2/9/08(race 
. Double check the name of the race and that it is for “3 yr olds” only.
You will need to click on the # by the track name and then the entries for that day come up. Scroll down the entries and see which of your horses are running, so you can activate them for that weekend.
If you only have say 3 horses running this weekend, just activate 2 others. You have to have 5 activated every weekend for your points to be count.
Please check the Race Schedule on RTTR(Road the the roses) so you know the name of the race, as there can be several Stakes races on that day at that particular track.
Use the entries on Equibase to “activate” 5 horses each friday. Most of these 3 yr olds will run only 3 times before the Derby. I will try and post a reminder on thursdays.

Once you use Equibase a couple times, it becomes very easy. I have been using it for 5 yrs now, since I started running my own TB’s.
On equibase they have a virtual stable, which includes a “road to the triple crown” alert. Saves having to manually add horses to a virtual stable, or check entries every week.
I’m probably missing something quite obvious but what about the San Vicente (GII)? It’s running on Sunday (Feb. 10th) and I can’t find the entries for it anywhere.

Also, on the roadtotheroses site itself, it will have links to the entries as race day approaches. You can get to these by clicking ‘Race Schedule’.

Good luck to everyone and we will see results on sunday after San Vicente runs. Everybody has picked some good horses. I am sure everybody will do good and earn alot of points. 
Got the first three finishers from the Risen Star in my active stable. Yay!
Hmm, looks like I’ll have to pull for Poni Colada and Fierce Wind this weekend…at least then I’ll get some trainer points. Nothin’ for me to do otherwise than yawn and wait for Oaklawn to put their entries up. 
Some of you may have noticed the points were all wacky in the beginning after opening weekend. I email them and now all the points are correct.
If anyone has any problems, post it here and I will email them about it.
I only had one horse run last weekend, Z Humor. I am waiting for the rest to get around to running.

I didn’t get around to picking my horses until today, but hey, better late than never! There’s so many horses I wanted to pick, now I can’t wait for the draft!
This weekend’s Fountain of Youth should be a good one. Any thoughts on Z Humor running again after only 8 days? It’s an interesting move.
Dang, I just realized Denise of Cork was one of my picks but he wasn’t activated for Monday’s race! Who has a Derby prep on a Monday?!?!?
