Sad to report the loss of one of Darkwood’s best broodmares. [color=red]Wild Highland (Highland Rogue x Walkonthewildside) was retired in april after a difficult foaling. She lived out her final days in the old apple orchard but never really recovered. The vet says it was natural causes. she leaves behind 13 foals including 6 x SW, of which 3 x MSW - Ch. Night of Storms, Ch. Wild Starz (millionaire) and Ch. I’m A Wild One.
I am sorry for your loss. Thankfully she had several daughters to pass on the name! I own two grandsons of hers: Dream Machine (through daughter Ch. Gefallener Engel) and Wadi (through daughter Wixiban).
Sorry to hear of her passing. We were lucky enough to acquire two of her daughters earlier this year in Wixiban and I’m A Wild One. We hope they’ll contribute to keeping her bloodline going.
