Sadly last month we lost one of leading broodmares with the passing of Question Authority due to the infirmities of old age.

Q was unraced but proved an exceptional broodmare, producing 17 foals. 15 of those have raced and, as of yesterday, all are winners. She produced 4 MSW, most notably ICh Quarren and NCh Bright Gold. We’re lucky enough to stand Quarren and have her daughter Smaug who’ll be joining the broodmare band in the future. We also have a Foolhardy 2yo Filly to race this year as well as a colt from Sionnach’s first crop for next year.

Always sad to lose a horse you have had for a long time and extra sad when she’s been such a great broodmare :slightly_frowning_face:

So sorry for your loss. It’s always a sad day when a beloved horse passes. I have several of her grand foals through breeding to Quarren. I’m sure they will carry her legacy as well.
