I just noticed today that Cross Roads passed away! Such a beautiful stallion…I hope that he was enjoying life right up to the last. May his legacy shine on through his many foals.

So sad that he’s gone! He was a really awesome stallion. I hope his foals (and their offspring) carry his legacy far past the high standard he set as a renowned stallion.
Condolences to Andrea! He’s a great stud. Congrats to the lucky four owners who managed to get their mares bred for this season. He’ll be very missed! Let’s hope his sons can continue his legacy!

Lucky me the mare I had booked to him was his last. Very sorry to hear he’s gone Andrea, one of the original great FF studs.
We were all sad to see him go as he really was one of the “old guard” of breeding in FF. He’s got a great legacy, however, that hopefully will keep him remembered for years to come. He has 5 sons at stud so far and numerous successful broodmares.
Anyone who had mares booked to him for this year can PM me and I’ll work with you to get your breeding switched to one of my other stallions, or if you’d prefer to go with one of his more successful sons I will understand.
I’m so sorry to hear this. He is truely one of the greats of FF. My heart goes out to Andrea. His legacy will live on for many generations of FF horses.
That is so sad…I was looking at him too for a mare…
Most times it seems that the good ones go way to early…

oh thats so sad , i am sorry for your loss, i had wanted to breed my last mare still in foal to him .
I can say I have two promising foals by him , one Andrea graciously sold to me because i love Heartsblood , bloodlines a nice yearling colt , Delta Haze
and a filly that was just born may 4th whom i named Magic Carpet Ride, she was a day earlyand cute as can be.
