renaming?

Not sure if this is a bug or a me-being-stupid. I’m trying to rename my two starter horses and can’t seem to do it. I follow the directions in the FAQ (go to horse page, click "Edit Horse Information, type in new name, save information). It’s when I get to the type in new name part that I run into trouble. It won’t let me erase the current name of “Unnamed” and type in the new name.

I use Firefox, so I tried this on Chrome, too, and still didn’t have any luck. Am I doing something wrong here?

Renaming only works for horses under 2 years (weanings and yearlings).

Hmm. So the created horses (2010 & 2011 birth years) that came to me unnamed should have names already, then?

Possibly not as there’s just been a code change so that all newly created horses will need renaming. I’m guessing both horses weren’t named when you got them? If that’s the case it’s probably worth reporting it as a bug via the bug pages.

Fixed. It was only letting admins rename non-babies, my bad.
