The last two foals of this crop have finally arrived, one after another!
[color=red]Divina Commedia is a beautiful black filly by the silver-ranked Unabridged-Divine Touch, by Point Given. Her name is Italian for “Divine Comedy”, Dante Alighieri’s epic. Her sire is a good one though her dam is unproven. Should be exciting.
No idea who to send Divine Touch to yet.
Then there is [color=blue]Real de a Ocho, who’s going to turn into the same flea-bitten grey color that his dam is. He is by Karat-Ideal Ransom. His name is (should be, anyway) is Spanish for the Spanish dollar, specifically the Piece of Eight. The Pirates of the Caribbean movies may or may not have inspired his name.
No idea who to book Ideal Ransom to either, lol.
[color=blue]10 colts / [color=red]19 fillies / 0 stillborn/ 1 broodmare lost <-- fillies dominated this year and no foal was lost, though we did lose a mare while she was being leased. ah well.
