Hi Shanthi (and anyone else who cares),
I was wondering if we could get the feature (?) taken off that auto ships a mare to your stable when you change to broodmare status? I just got pretty stung with some high shipping fees for mares I sent to US for racing with breeding to US-based studs in mind.

I second that request. I have a mare who is currently racing in Australia. I had planned to give her one more race and then send her to one of Vaucluse’s studs, taking advantage of the fact that my mare was there in Australia. When I realized that she would automatically be relocated to my stables when I switched her to Broodmare status, I cancelled the booking.
I agree, I think it would be more realistic to leave the mare where she is on retirement and owners have to ship home or to a different stud farm(although the free shipping home was nice 
)
