I changed my selection system based on the success that Chicago and North Oak have had. It is similar to the system that Chicago talked about. This was by far the most successful day that I have ever had, with almost twice as many Trifectas today as in all of the previous days in September. I made a pencil note of how my selections would have done if I had used my old system and earned almost $10k more today than if I had stuck to my old system. The new system takes a lot longer to work out, but, based on today’s success, it looks like it will be more than well worth it. Thanks Chicago.

BTW - Even with the new system, still had a lot of 1-2-3’s in the wrong order, but, considering how well I did today, I can’t complain.

I’m really glad it’s working out for you! Today was actually a rather tough day for my system, I also had a lot of horses out of order. Hopefully next week will be more predictable!
How long does it take the two of you? I usually spend at least 2 hours on my picks, but I’ve been getting lazy the last few weeks.
I figure it will probably take at least a couple of hours. What I found takes the time is selecting each individual horse and checking their race record to see what their past performances are. Does anybody know if there is an easier way to see each horses records, specifically the time for the first furlong (actually first 2 furlongs) of their last races>
I have 2 kids. It takes me ALL. DAY. LONG
hahahaha. It goes quick after I drop Thing 1 off at kindergarten though, and Thing 2 goes down for a nap. Then I can get through a good chunk of it in an hour, but by that point I’m on race 20, so I get to about race 40, pick up T1 from school, and finish.
Starfish: browser tabs are your friend. I open them all in tabs, click view record, then the current year, go down the line, and each race only takes about 5 mins.
Yes, That’s the way I do it. Just wondered if there was a faster way of doing it.
