[size=140]It is with pure devastation that CDS announces the death of WCh. Nightfight. 

The whole farm is still in total shock over the events leading up to his death.  Everything seemed normal the evening of the 24th except the loud whinnying coming from our prized stallions stall.  We could tell he was getting riled up for this next breeding season and thought nothing of letting him out in his favorite pasture to run off some excess steam.  I grabbed the brown leather halter hanging on the front of his stall, unlatched the door and pushed in open just enough to squeeze through. I expertly navigated the halter over Nightfights nose and slipped the crown piece behind his slick black ears before he could get a nip at me.  He was known around the farm to have a devils temperament and I

This is devastating news. RIP Nightfight, whose breeding legacy will surely be felt for years to come. I’m glad he already has 3 sons braced to carry on the torch.

A devastating loss for everyone in the game.  Condolences from our farm to yours.  So glad I got my best mare in with him last year.  Hoping this pairing results in a fitting tribute to the great man.
