question

Under the FAQ I was looking at how often a horse should be raced and it taked about energy level percent. Now under my horses energy and fitness there is a C. My horse has not yet been raced so my question is if that is why I have a C under energy and fitness? What does the C stand for? And if I can find that percentage now where? I hope that was clear.

Sorry if I can find the answer somewhere else I looked and couldnt find it. Thanks.

Racing Fitness and Energy are displayed on the standard A, B, C, D, F score that you get in school. There’s automatic error built in so it’s not a solid statement of the horse’s current energy or fitness. Energy goes down with racing, fitness goes down with lack of racing.

Okay so would it be bad to race a horse with a C?

The quick answer is no it would not be bad

lol Okay thanks!

That depends on if it’s fitness or energy. Fitness, no, b/c you have no other way to raise fitness.

Energy, it could be. However if the horse hasn’t run in the past 14+ days then odds are that it’ll be alright. This is just a guideline and does not change the information in the faq about how often to race a horse.

This horse has not been raced at all.

Should be fine then.
