I’m still a little confused on how the booking dates work. I have a mare that is booked for a March 26th breeding date. When I go to her page there’s the “breed this foal” button. Do I need to click that or will she automatically be bred on March 26th without me doing anything? And if I click that button before March 26th will she be bred early? Thanks
Thank you
Sorry one more question. You have to wait 30 days to breed a mare after she’s given birth so do I have to wait 30 days before I can click the “breed this foal” button? Because when I clicked it for my mare Shameka whose booked for April 2nd, it said she was still in foal even though she’s already foaled.
You may need to ship her to the stallion’s farm first before you can bred her. You do not have to wait 30 days before clicking the Breed This Mare button after she has foaled, BUT you do need to make sure her next breeding date is at least 30 days AFTER when she had her 2012 or last foal
As soon as my mares foal they get sent off to their new stud appointments for the year and then bred as long as the breeding date is at least 30 days from when they foaled.
Make sense?
As long as the booking itself is at least 30 days after the foal is born, you can click “Breed This Foal” whenever you want. It’s meant to be “realistic” in that you can’t magically make babies that shouldn’t exist, but user-friendly in that you don’t need to be online the day your mare needs to be bred.
Well she’s already at Semiahmoo Farm waiting for her date, and she foaled Feb. 8th and is booked for April the 2nd. I think I’m doing everything right, is it possible that it’s a glitch?
Should be fixed.
Thanks
