This is a great idea! I’d love to read everyone’s answers on this.

Your favorite virtue.
Honesty. Working on it in myself and love to see it in others.

Your favorite qualities in a man.
Humor and the ability to uplift his significant other. (My boyfriend of 4 years is wonderful at both of those.)

Your favorite qualities in a woman.
I greatly admire women with independence, confidence, and strength, but still have feminine gentleness.

What you appreciate the most in your friends.
We all have the same sense of humor and can count on each other for anything.

Your main fault.
My pessimism and tendency to get discouraged easily.

Your favourite occupation.
I guess what I’m going to school for, which is environmental engineering.

Your idea of happiness.
Being at peace with my daily grind and having my loved ones around me.

Your idea of misery.
Living without my loved ones or hating what I do every day.

If not yourself, who would you be?
Commander Shepard from Mass Effect, hands down. Too bad no one probably knows who that is. >:D

Where would you like to live?
North Carolina is my dream state to live in, an hour or so from the coast.

Your favourite colour and flower.
My favorite color is green and I truly love all flowers. If I had to pick, maybe a blossom on a tomato plant because it means my plant will make a delicious tomato for me!

Your favorite prose authors.
Sarah Dessen, J. R. R. Tolkien, and J. K. Rowling.

Your favorite poets.
Paul Simon, who may not be a traditional poet, but the lyrics in his music really are poetry.

Your favorite heroes in fiction.
Commander Shepard, Master Chief, Link, and Batman.

Your favorite heroines in fiction.
FemShep. I tried to think of more, but couldn’t! I need more heroines in my life.

Your favorite painters and composers.
My favorite composers are Hans Zimmer and Martin O’Donnell. Don’t really have any favorite painters…

Your heroes in real life.
My dad and my boyfriend, the two best guys in the world.

Your heroines in World history.
Rosa Parks. I love it when people stand up to “bullies” in a way similar to how she did.

Your favorite food and drink.
I love food too much to pick a single favorite. Mexican, hamburgers, and anything my stepmom makes. My favorite drink is fresh brewed sweet tea.

Your favorite names.
Aiden, Everett, and Adrienne.

What I hate the most.
I hate it when people are selfish and materialistic. I have a hard time tolerating it.

The natural talent I’d like to be gifted with.
I could seriously go on forever with this one. To be able to comfort people when they’re upset, public speaking, playing musical instruments, horsemanship…

How I wish to die.
Realistically, in my sleep. If I wanted to be more fantastical or interesting, being shot in the head with a binary rifle would be pretty awesome.

What is your present state of mind.
Content and relieved that I got done everything that I needed to on time.

For what fault have you most toleration?
Laziness, even when it affects me. And I guess I’ll mention the inability to do math, since everyone assumes I will think someone is an idiot if they don’t have a natural aptitude for math.

Your favorite motto.
Carpe Diem.

Your favorite virtue.
Humility.

Your favorite qualities in a man.
Humor! And kindness.

Your favorite qualities in a woman.
Humor and kindness again! And independence.

What you appreciate the most in your friends.
Their sense of humor (can you tell I like humor?) and that we always have each other’s backs.

Your main fault.
Laziness, most definitely.

Your favourite occupation.
Archivist! I am slightly biased though. Virologists are awesome though; it’s what I was originally planning as my career.

Your idea of happiness.
Curled up in a comfy chair with a book, my cat, and some tea.

Your idea of misery.
Having to be around loads of people I don’t know.

If not yourself, who would you be?
Commander Shepard would be pretty cool, or a virologist at USAMRIID.

Where would you like to live?
I would love to live in the UK for at least a few years, and I’ve always wanted to live in/around Boston.

Your favourite colour and flower.
My favorite color is blue; my favorite flower is either a gardenia or freesia.

Your favorite prose authors.
J.R.R. Tolkien, J.K. Rowling, C.S. Lewis, Ray Bradbury, Chuck Palahniuk.

Your favorite poets.
Walt Whitman, Allen Ginsberg, Nikki Giovanni.

Your favorite heroes in fiction.
Commander Shepard, Elwin Ransom and Aragorn I suppose if they count as heroes.

Your favorite heroines in fiction.
FemShep! Because let’s be real, she is great.

Your favorite painters and composers.
I don’t really have a favorite painter, but my favorite composers are Chopin and Palestrina.

Your heroes in real life.
My parents are pretty great. I really look up to Hillary Clinton, though I don’t know if I would consider her a hero.

Your heroines in World history.
Marie Curie, Irena Sendler.

Your favorite food and drink.
Ooh. I love pretty much all junk food but probably any type of creamy pasta and chocolate. I love tea and whiskey (sometimes together).

Your favorite names.
James, Eben, Charlotte.

What I hate the most.
Being selfish, people who are rude to those working in retail or customer service.

The natural talent I’d like to be gifted with.
I’d love to be better at playing the piano (curse my stubby fingers!), or to be better at math.

How I wish to die.
Hopefully loved and in my sleep.

What is your present state of mind.
Pretty bored; I’m at work.

For what fault have you most toleration?
Terrible mathematical skills, because mine are sorely lacking. Also people who are really flaky (edited for accidentally leaving “also people” as a fault).

Your favorite motto.
Be yourself. Everyone else is taken. - Oscar Wilde

Yesssss. I’m so glad you play Mass Effect and knew what I was talking about!  ;D

Yes! I love Mass Effect. FemShep is pretty much one of my favorite characters ever.

So nice to read your answers! I have no idea about Mass Effect though.

Your favorite virtue.
Passion maybe. The kind of passion that inspires other people, and doesn’t make them feel worse.

Your favorite qualities in a man.
Sensitivity and dedication.

Your favorite qualities in a woman.
Self-confidence and independence.

What you appreciate the most in your friends.
I appreciate that they have those virtues I mentioned above, which make them so incredible.

Your main fault.
Inconsistence.

Your favourite occupation.
Researching something. Very often something useless.

Your idea of happiness.
Being at peace with myself and everyone around. Not easy, though… especially with myself!

Your idea of misery.
When I was at school, it was… being a math teacher :-[  now other jobs come to my mind. All very well paid, unfortunately.

If not yourself, who would you be?
Shepherd, pilot, sheikh, or queen. All at once would be fun, too. I guess.

Where would you like to live?
Andalusia in winter, Estonia in the summer. At least I think so, because I have never been to any of these (but I wish).

Your favourite colour and flower.
It would be too hard to tell which is my favourite… I like grey in oil paintings, where it’s used to paint the smoke (but not the clouds, as it usually means rainy clouds). I like some violet on my clothes, and on some flowers, like Campanula. My favourite flower is now the wild rose, although it’s not very pretty, but jam made of its petals is great.

Your favorite prose authors.
I should read more prose. But recently my favourite authors were Witold Gombrowicz and Umberto Eco. Currently, Philip Zimbardo is one of the reasons why I’m not reading prose. I have probably read everything he wrote so far, though.

Your favorite poets.
Looks like I stopped reading poetry in high school… what a shame. I think, that Guillaume Apollinaire was my favourite back then. I like Spanish poetry and prose, but need to learn some more to understand it in original.

Your favorite heroes in fiction.
James Bond :stuck_out_tongue: and The Moomins. Of course.

Your favorite heroines in fiction.
Alice in Wonderland and Pippi L
