I tried to modify the Breeding Fee for an outside mare who was booked to one of our Stallions.
- I went to the ‘Arrange Breedings’ page for the Stallion, Lucky Streak [https://www.finalfurlong.org/viewhorse.php?horse=7748].
- I selected the mare in question, Frontier Days [https://www.finalfurlong.org/viewhorse.php?horse=13063] and clicked on ‘Modify’.
- I changed the Fee to $0 and clicked on ‘Modify Bookings’.
When it went back to the ‘Arrange Breedings’ page for the Stallion, the booking for Frontier Days had completely vanished.
I had to manually re-enter the Stable name, select the mare from their drop down list and change the fee to $0.
This has happened to me a few times recently (since we changed to using Discourse) but usually when it has happened, I haven’t had time to fill out a Bug Report. Then, when I’ve had time to be able to fill out a Bug Report, I’ve usually forgotten about it.
I haven’t noticed bookings disappearing when I make other modifications to breedings, e.g. switching a mare from one slot to another. I also don’t know if it would also disappear if I were to change the Fee, but not to $0 (e.g. halving the Fee for a Newbie), although I don’t think I’ve had a reason to do that since the switch to Discourse.
