Pregnancy is coming to a close

I’m having a c-section next Thursday due to medical complications. They need to remove a huge cyst from my right ovary after the baby is out. My ovary might be removed as well.

Anyways, I might be MIA for a couple of weeks once the baby is here.

Shanthi, should I be removed from my color wars team to be fair to my team mates? Once I get back on my feet from surgery, I hope to resume my FF activities, but that could be a couple weeks and I don’t want my team to suffer because I had a baby.  ??? I know I should have thought about that before signing up this year, but at the time “baby” seemed like such a distant thing. Now it’s NEXT week. Eek!

Yeah, that’s fine, your team will need to pick a replacement.

I hope the surgery goes well, and the baby arrives healthy and happy. :slight_smile:

Seems like so long aga that I was thinking the same thing–end of the pregnancy was so far away and suddenly it was on me…now she is 6 months old!

Hope baby is born happy and healthy!

Thanks guys  ;D I’m really nervous and trying not to dwell on it too much. It’s so weird to think that next Friday… the “two of us” with be three… Wow!
