Entries are still open but the field is full already! My colt Party Night is the least experienced apparently :face_with_peeking_eye: I actually scratched him from a steeplechase race when I remembered about the Pegasus  well, someone has to arrive dead last… he did win similar races twice, but against much easier competition.
Other than that, there is Ch. FightFlightFreeze entered by Gotapa Racing. His sire GCh. Local Haunt won the 2024 Pegasus, and tried again next year but finished 5th.
Littlefield entered Ch. Jagged Beam by GCh. Dark Debate, who ran in the 2025 Pegasus World Cup but finished 12th and retired to stud.
Last year, the winner was Ch. Youghal, bred by me and sold to Littlefield, who sold him to Black Storm West. It was one of his two stakes races and only stakes win. I retired Youghal’s dam, but I keep his full sister Remember To Call.
GCh. Highland Rime, entered by Gintara Lodge, finished 4th last year.

The real life race has already been run, and the winner is 7yo Skippylongstocking, in front of last year’s winner White Abarrio:

Skippylongstocking finished 3rd last year.

I think what was interesting when looking at the entries, outside of 2 California Chrome runners, every other runner is sired by a different stallion.
