Our New Horses!

I’m so excited!!! My sister and I have begun our dream… three weeks ago I found a TB mare and went to see her… she was drop dead gorgeous so I bought her…

Miss Occupy

My sister had an Appaloosa mare… but our dream is to raise TB’s for the track… so for over a year she’s been trying to sell her or trade her… she had finally decided we were going to keep the Appy, because nothing seened to be working out… and about 5 days before she was due to go to the stallion… my sister started emailing some people who had a 3 yo TB filly for sale… so to cut to the chase… she ended up trading the the Appy for the TB…

My Money Honey

Both mares are nicely bred… Missy is 15 yo… dead broke and used as a mountain trail horse… Honey was at the track but never ran…

We are now looking for stallions to breed to… This is just so exciting! We may never rasie a horse that races… but we’re starting with a good foundation with these two mare…

Woo Hoo! Breeders Cup here we come! LOL…

Honey looks like a super nice mare.  Good luck on finding a stally!

Oooh very nice mares!  And my favorite colors!

Very beautiful, both of them! I really like Missy’s breeding too!

Very cool.  I like their bloodlines (not that I know much about bloodlines except for a bunch of the REALLY famous guys) and they look nice.  Good luck with them.

Great looking bottom bloodlines on both of them. What area of the US are you looking to breed them in?

We live in Northern California… so anywhere within the state… so they can run in Cal-Bred races…

Congrats! Best of luck with them!

Hey Dawn,
Are you going to run at Santa Rosa?  We live in So. Oregon and we are going to go to SR and then to Ferndale.

Maybe we can hook up.

My parent’s grew up in Sacramento and I was born there.  We are coming up on 6 yrs in oregon.
Small world!

Hope we can meet.

PS. Candi’s full little brother is in Nick Hines’s barn.  He claimed him back in feb.  Nice horse.

Miss Occupy seems the better of the two to me. That’s a really nice topline esp. for a TB.

Good luck finding the right stallions!

Hooray Sacramento Born People!

I rather like Miss Occupy’s hind end better, but I love the front half of My Money Honey.  Maybe its the shadows but her hindquaters just look a little weird.  On the other hand, Miss Occupy looks a little downhill (which is just how it goes sometimes with TBs I think)  So I’m not sure who my absolute fav is.
