Even though I love Final Furlong and will definitely remain an active member, lately I’m craving a bit of variety. Final Furlong is basically the only game I play, so I’d like to mix it up with something else.
Now I’ve been searching for another browser game that is similar to Final Furlong, but scratches a different itch. It’s quite difficult to judge the games I find (so many that are pay to win or basically encourage you to be chronically online - no thank you), so I thought I’d ask the community here: do you play any other browser games that you enjoy and would recommend? It doesn’t neccessarily need to be horse related.
So far, I’ve joined EquinePassion, which seems promising but I’m not too sure yet. It’s a horse game with a bunch of disciplines and breeds and is about training your character and horses, competitions and breeding.
Curious to hear if anyone has a game they’d recommend!
Oh man I used to have a whole list of games before, but I’ve misplaced it. Off the top of my head there’s quite a few: Horse Eden Eventing, Equiverse, Noble Horse Champion, and Horse Reality.
I also really like Wild Horses Valley, its very chill, and you can leave it for a while without missing much:
Howrse is pretty fun and chill if you haven’t tried it yet. Horses don’t age unless you press the button to age them, so if you need to be away for a while, it doesn’t hurt your gameplay too bad. It’s unfortunate that the era of browser games has largely ended, though. I used to have a lot more recommendations than I do now.
If you google horse games there still quite a lot around! I might have to redo my list and post it somewhere. There’s even a few that are more forum-based but still have automated features.
I’ve been looking around and there’s a lot out there! There’s so much it’s hard to pick something that suits haha. Many don’t really give a good idea of what it’s like until you join I feel like. That’s mainly why I wanted to ask around here.
I haven’t found any of the old school sim forum type I used to play as a teenager, but I prefer the more automated ones (with some interaction) now anyway. The one I joined now, https://equinepassion-browsergame.com/, launched its international version in 2020, so that feels quite recent!
I’ll take a look at Wild Horse Valley, the concept seems quite unique. I haven’t tried Howrse, but I read it’s quite pay to win to have nice and succesful horses.
