This morning when I made my first bids at the Select Auction, I accidentally bid more (in total) than I have in my budget. Is there something in the auction code that will default to the next highest bidder should I win an auction without having the necessary funds? I don’t want to have been the one to start a wildfire, obviously, and I apologize to you, Shanthi, if I’ve created any kind of a headache.
Yes, if you cannot afford the bid you made, it will be invalidated. (However, the code should’ve prevented you from making such a bid in the first place, so there’s a bug in there somewhere.)
