I booked my mare Summer Day to be bred to Gimme A Shot for July 16th. She is currently at Clover Spring Stables but her page says she is not in foal and not booked. I was just wondering if something went wrong?
As long as the booking is listed when you click Breed This Mare, it’s fine. The main summary does not list booikings because you could have 3 approved bookings for one mare. “Not booked” = not in foal for next year.
I had the same issue with Eve’s Delight. I even forgot who I had booked her to, and then sent her off to Storybook. When she got there, nothing was listed on the ‘Breed This Mare’ page.
It happened with another mare too, I’m wanting to say it was Lady’s HiPride.
Shipping the mare to the stud owner’s farm doesn’t automatically breed the mare, once she arrives you should still see her pending booking (assuming you went through all that earlier) and then you need to click on “Breed this Foal” and then ship your mare back home.
I can’t tell how far along that process the bug occurred. None of my mares lost their booking info during transit, but it’s entirely possible that that could be a bug in the code.
I actually lost bookings on a couple of mares… but what happened was I had booked for a certain day… and actually arrived at the farm past that day… so it didn’t show up as booked…
Ok thanks. I think this is a sign that I should just wait till next year. The poor thing would be soo behind all the other foals if I bred it this late anyways. lol
hmm is it ok to just leave her there to be bred for next year?
