Whoo!  Glad to see an Irish River son finally make it.  =)

The Grey Stable is proud to announce the acquisition and offering for Stud Duty of
NCh. Formal Occasion
GCh. Highland Laird (S) - Jacket Required (G) - Class Act (G)

He is only the second son of Highland Laird to qualify for stud duty along with High Chances. He will cross with many of the mares in the game today including Highland Rogue mares if Rogue is in the 3rd generation.
He raced most of his career in Austrailia and has become a Turf specialist. He raced at all distances but was at his best in the 8 to 10 furlong range.
When he did leave the land down under he won such Stake races as:
9.0f Turf Gr. 1 Dubai Duty Free for 3yo+, $2,000,000 in the UAE
8.5f Turf Gr. 3 William Donald Schaefer Handicap for 3yo, $100,000 at Pimlico
8.0f Turf Ungr. Woodlawn Stakes for 3yo, $125,000 at Pimlico
9.5f Turf Gr. 3 Hill Prince Stakes for 3yo, $100,000 at Belmont

Yes he did run on the dirt and did well at that to winning Stake races:
10.0f Dirt Gr. 2 MV Vase for 3yo, $125,000 (Aust)
8.0f Dirt Gr. 2 WA Guineas for 3yo, $125,000 (Aust)
9.5f Dirt Gr. 1 Canterbury Guineas for 3yo, $350,000 (Aust)
8.0f Dirt Gr. 2 Crystal Mile for 3yo+, $125,000

Get your booking in early when the booking starts as mares booked to him in the 2015 season will have 1st rights to book to Spock in the 2016 breeding season.
