Hey everyone,
One of the racehorses I groom, Melanie Mariah, ran recently and totall kicked butt. She won EASILY. Ok so it was only a $7500 claimer but she should move to a higher level her next race. Honestly she never belonged in a lower level claimer, I’m suprised she wasnt claimed. Anyways, the owner of this horse is also a professional photographer. So he took a picture of ‘pinky’ (her barn name) and I just after she won her race. THe quality isnt great on the computer in comparison to the real picture. Thought you guys might like to see!

aw thanks guys. Pinky is my ‘baby’. She’s a total sweetheart but at the same time is a real tough trooper type of horse. She started late, had her first start this year as a 3yr old. She won on her 4th start. Her first couple starts she had a few bad breaks and knicked up her legs pretty good. Her 3rd start she ran a good solid 3rd and now she has finally won . We hope to run her again in a few weeks, we’ll see how she comes out of this race
