I’ve decided to be nice and sell all 7yo geldings for $1,000 each. I will not “police” these sales, but please be nice and limit your purchases (i.e. don’t go in and buy 45 of these geldings). All geldings are priced at $1,000, which may or may not be a good deal (since 7 is pretty old, so the horses may be incapable of running well anymore 
).

Got my 1st steeplechaser, 2 horses are in Australia, 1 is in England and the 4th is in FL

many thanks for the gelding sale, If they don’t win/place much (or at all!) it’ll still be interesting and fun to be able to enter extra races. I’m also finding it useful for getting a better understanding of how training works as they all seem to have low energy/fitness ratings. I have been a bit reluctant to use training on my regular horses as i made a real mess of things when training was first introduced. Now i can practice with the geldings without risking horses that i need to have earn money for me.
I got 6 in the end. 4 when first saw them for sale and there were 70 available, then yesterday there were just 2 left with very poor records so i thought anybody who wanted them would have got them so they have joined me.
Shanthi if you think I have been greedy, let me know and I’ll put the last 2 back up for sale at the same price as i paid.
Hey, thanks a bunch Shanthi. I swapped Turbo Charge from the bunch, but I limited myself to just one. Hopefully he’s not over the hill yet.

All of the geldings have been sold.
I’ve been noticing many of these geldings appearing on the sales page for ridiculous prices (over $50,000 for horses who haven’t earned $50,000 in several years).
So, because my generosity in giving these horses out in the first place is apparently not being passed on to other members, I have taken away the right to sell these geldings at all.
If you no longer want a gelding you purchased from Final Furlong, your only option is to give it back to Final Furlong (for $0).
Next time, try to be a little less greedy…if the horse is doing well and warrants a high price tag, either keep it for the money it’d bring in racing, or be nice and sell it cheaply (i.e. $5,000 or less) to another stable. If it’s not doing well enough to warrant even a $5,000 price tag, just retire the poor horse (considering all these guys are 7 years old).

Just started and the following farms have given me horses at really generous prices:

Coleman Ranch
Windward Farms ( give me a horse for free!!!) , and it won prize money first time out.
And Dawn at Battle Hill has been real help/friend , and is selling me a horse.
As relative newbie w/o these people I’d still have my original 2 horses , Thanks.
I have re-posted 26 7yo geldings for sale, all at $1,000 each. (They were sold back in January, but their owners quit the game so now they’re back in FF ownership.)
Since there are only 26 of them, please limit yourself to one gelding each (at least for a couple of days).
Keep in mind that you will not be able to sell these horses, so if you no longer want them you will need to give them back to FF for free.
Aw. There are plenty of cute old fellas offered - I was lucky to add [color=green]No Goody Clone to my racing string. Maybe he can teach my younger racers how it’s done!

Question-Are we now allowed to buy more than 1 horse?
I was just curious cause the stable alert thing went away so I thought that i’d look b4 i leaped. lol
The stable alerts only shows up once when you login. There is no hidden message to them.
