Native Justice

GCh. Native Justice

Native is a four year old chestnut stud that has pretty much done it all. He has run successfully on dirt and turf and at both endurace races and sprint races.
Last year Native justice won 5 stakes races(all graded), placed in many as well, won various allowance classes, got his Grand Champion title, and became a millionaire.
Native Justice wasn’t running so well this year on either turf or dirt and was switched over to steeplechasing. He has run only 3 times on steeplechasing, showing twice.
I hate to see this great horse go, but I am just no having the luck I used to have with him, and am running out of ideas. I’m hoping someone more experienced can take him
and turn him into the champion I know he can be. He is sired by [color=blue]Southern Justice and out of [color=red]Native Princessa.

He is currently for sale for $140,00 OBO.

I would highly recommend sending him home for 1 month for rest.  He has run a lot and been shipped thousands of miles.
Some trips home he arrived on one day and was shipped again the next day or maybe he was home for 5 or 6 days here and there.

Not enough time to rest.  You can race him and then send him home till a couple days before his next race. Try to space your races, so that he is at home at least 2 weeks. This is a guideline. He might want a little more rest or maybe 10 days at home is enough for him. But, a lot of his races are 7 days apart, w/ huge miles of shipping in between.

Works good on my GCh. mare.  I keep to the east coast and no overseas shipping. Mostly because it is too expensive and there are plenty of good races near home.

So, give the big guy a well deserved rest and try him again.

I’m with Brenda, send the horse home for 6 to 8 weeks for a good rest, it’s a shame you switched him to chasing (specially when we can’t switch back) I would have gelded him 1st :astonished: but what’s done is done.

yeah and well i didn’t switch him–a leaser did, but he isn’t running horrible on SC right now anyway. and thanks guys
